Sometimes, life is like a greeting card with an ill-fitting envelope.
It’s filled with little annoyances. Sometimes, that problem is curable.
Sometimes, I learn little tricks from my clients. All those little lessons exchanged become tips I can pass on.
Everyone has ended up with greeting cards without envelopes and envelopes that don’t seem to fit any card. This is because we tend to keep our card stuck under the flap of the envelope. Or, worse yet, we have the card on top of the envelope, not conntected at all.
My client, and friend, who LOVES to send cards, always tucks her envelope inside the card. It is more difficult for it to become separated from the envelope. And, as a bonus, it makes it easy to see the entire face of the card.
Here are a couple card tips:
- Buy enough cards for several months. Write the person’s name on the envelope so that you don’t have to sort through them in a hurry, trying to remember which one was chosen for which friend.
- Instead of adding the name to your calendar on the actual birthday, write it a week earlier and write “Send NG card.”
- Store each envelope inside the card.
Just for fun, here is the inside of the card. I’ve a family member turning 29 next month. I think she’ll get this one. LOL.
